Trip to Sri Lanka
My parents left Sri Lanka during the civil war to settle in France, my adopted country. Despite the distance, I have always felt connected to my homeland and my roots, which are so dear to my heart. Preserving Sri Lankan customs and traditions at home was just as important as preserving my dual French culture. This blend is something I celebrate in my cooking, a fusion of these two cultures, but also through language, as I alternate daily between Sinhalese, Tamil, and French. Today, I am committed to passing on the values I grew up with: respect, sharing, and open-mindedness, both within my agency and in my family life.
I started creating tailor-made tours in Sri Lanka for my family and friends, and this virtuous circle gradually expanded. My passion for travel and my knowledge of Sri Lanka led me to share my experience and the network I'd built there. I was able to count on my wife to bring this life project to fruition. It was only natural that Voyage O Sri Lanka, our local French-speaking travel agency, was born, reflecting our values.
By creating our agency, we wanted to break away from the standardized tours offered by tour operators and create unique and authentic tailor-made trips that reflect the personality of our travelers and their travel style. A personalized, handcrafted, and humanistic approach to travel.
A little inside information: I am passionate about travel for the freedom and letting go it provides, and about gastronomy which allows my creativity to express itself.
I love spending time in the kitchen and hosting my loved ones, with whom I share my traditional recipes and my fusion cuisine: this involves a well-set table, a good, slow-cooked and colorful meal prepared with passion, accompanied by a good wine and the joy of living.

From a very young age, encounters with others, a thirst for discovery, and creation in all its forms have been essential components of my development. Traveling allowed me to return to what is essential when the frenetic pace of city life distanced me from it.
When I met my husband Bruno, I embraced his culture. From our love and shared passions, Voyage O Sri Lanka, our immersive, tailor-made travel agency, was born. This allowed me to reconnect with my core strengths: creativity and travel.
For me, travel has always been an escape to new cultures, customs and beliefs, discovering other ways of thinking and behaving, but also of eating and moving around.
Setting out to meet others, the unknown, and ultimately myself, always leads me down the path of encounters that fill your soul and heart and leave a lasting mark. What motivates me today is the ability to create beautiful experiences for my travelers through authentic and sincere encounters in harmony with nature.
Deeply attached to nature in all its forms and to the preservation of the spaces I travel through, I will offer you immersive experiences in Sri Lankan fauna and flora in order to observe the richness of its biodiversity.
Creation: Fascinated by these artists who create using a pen, a voice, an instrument, the body to express themselves, I naturally gravitated towards initial studies in Art History.
Today, I love creating on a blank page, starting from a seedling or an encounter, a thought crossing my mind, but even more so through our networks, where the term "hand-sewn" takes on its full meaning. Creating is the word that inspires me freely every day, composing and starting again endlessly.
A little inside information : As a foodie and curious person, I love discovering the culinary specialties of the country I visit and I have a real passion for finding the best Sri Lankan addresses, the best restaurants in Sri Lanka because immersive travel also involves culinary experience.

Known for his infectious joie de vivre and legendary laughter, Kumar is nicknamed Lynx Eye . Able to spot what you might have missed during your trip, Kumar will gladly share his discoveries with you.
He travels off the beaten track in his van and enjoys learning French alongside travelers eager to share and pass on their knowledge in turn.
The MacGyver of the team because he always has the solution!

Chooty
Driver - Guide
Endowed with great wisdom, Chooty gives the impression of having lived several lives.
He shares our passion for travel and his country. He puts his knowledge of Sri Lanka to good use and is known for his great generosity. He shares the same values of sharing knowledge, freedom, and respect for nature.
If you ask him what he likes, he will tell you to spend time with his family on the East Coast of Sri Lanka.
My must-see in Sri Lanka : Visit my village, Batticaloa, and its local market. Afterwards, I invite you to my home to learn how to cook rice and curry with my wife!
Vimukthi
Driver - Guide
Vimukhti is proud of his Sri Lankan heritage. He wouldn't leave his island for anything in the world. He enjoys accompanying you to meet the locals, showing you another side of his island, far from mass tourism and bringing you closer to the local people. A cricket player, he loves sharing his passion for Sri Lanka's national sport.
A must-see in Sri Lanka : A safari in Wilpattu National Park. This little-visited nature park is renowned for its leopards.
You will be able to discover many birds, elephants, buffaloes or even monkeys.
In my opinion, the best time to visit Wilpattu is at sunset. A moment suspended in time, gentle and romantic.
Sarath
Driver - Guide
As the senior member of the team, Sarath has, as the expression would say, "experience."
He has been travelling around Sri Lanka for over 20 years and never tires of it because each trip is a discovery made up of new encounters.
The team's tāttā (dad) is very attentive to the well-being of others. Sensitive to animal welfare, he volunteers in local initiatives to rescue the more than 3 million street dogs in Sri Lanka.
His house has become a refuge as he has taken in 4 dogs and 3 cats… much to the delight of these balls of love.
Her favorite spot in Sri Lanka: As an animal lover, it's no surprise that Sarath particularly enjoys Sri Lanka's national parks and nature reserves. One of her favorite places to visit is the Bundala Nature Reserve. Located in the south of the island, Bundala is also a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. A paradise for birdwatchers and nature lovers.

A trip I'd dreamed of for a long time, and thanks to voyageosrilanka, it lived up to all my expectations. Loreley and Bruno were incredibly attentive to all my wishes (and there were many, since we were supposed to leave in 2021 but it was postponed to 2023, giving me plenty of time to change my mind). The organization of this trip was simply perfect from beginning to end: the accommodations, the tours, the restaurant recommendations, and our driver was the best driver we could have ever dreamed of!
